Overview

A four-day trekking tour of the Haftkul, the famous seven cascading lakes of the Fann Mountains. Each of the seven lakes has its own colour, from pale turquoise to deep blue, strung along the Shing river valley. Begin from Penjikent, trek or drive between the lakes, and overnight in homestays in the mountain villages of Padrut, Mishuchi and Marguz, before returning via Penjikent.

Itinerary

Day 1

Dushanbe – Penjikent – Padrut (Lake 1)

Drive from Dushanbe to Penjikent, then up the Shing valley to the first of the seven lakes at Padrut. Short walk around the lower lake. Overnight in a homestay in Padrut.
